Maple Fleet Delivery Fees and Radius

Last updated: August 14, 2026

If your restaurant offers delivery, Maple supports two different delivery models. This article explains both, and gives real-world numbers for delivery fees and radius so you know what to expect.

Two Delivery Models

Bring Your Own Fleet (BYOF)

If your restaurant already has its own delivery drivers, you can use them for Maple orders. You set your own delivery zones and fees under Location Settings → Modules → Delivery in the Maple portal. Both pay-by-link and pay-on-delivery are supported with this model.

Maple Fleet

If you don't have your own delivery drivers, Maple Fleet automatically dispatches a third-party courier (such as DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct) to handle the delivery for you. This requires a one-time setup and uses pay-by-link only (customers pay online before the order is dispatched).

How Maple Fleet Delivery Fees Work

Maple Fleet fees are live quotes from courier partners, calculated at the time of the order based on distance and driver availability — similar to how rideshare pricing works. There's no fixed price table, because the fee reflects real-time conditions rather than a flat rate.

That said, here's what to typically expect:

  • Dense urban areas: deliveries typically run 3–7 miles

  • Typical suburban areas: deliveries typically run 5–15 miles

  • Suburban/rural areas with less courier density: deliveries can extend to 15–20+ miles, depending on courier availability

Actual delivery range and pricing in your specific area will depend on how many courier drivers are active nearby at any given time — the same way rideshare pricing and availability fluctuates by neighborhood and time of day.

Which Model Should You Use?

If you already employ delivery drivers, BYOF gives you full control over your delivery zones and fees. If you don't have your own drivers — or want the flexibility of on-demand courier dispatch without managing a delivery staff — Maple Fleet handles it for you automatically. Talk to your onboarding specialist if you're not sure which is the better fit for your restaurant.
