Maple Dashboard Overview

Last updated: March 23, 2026

The Maple dashboard is your central hub for managing your restaurant's AI voice agent, menus, orders, and business settings. Accessed through your web browser, the dashboard provides a clean, tabbed interface where you can configure everything from your knowledge base to your POS integration. This guide walks you through the dashboard's layout, key sections, and how to navigate the platform effectively.

Accessing the Dashboard

The Maple dashboard is a web-based application — no software installation required.

  1. Open a web browser (Chrome or Safari recommended) on any computer, tablet, or iPad.

  2. Navigate to app.maple.inc in the URL bar.

  3. Log in using the email address associated with your Maple account. Depending on your setup, you'll either:

    • Click Continue with Google to authenticate with your Gmail account, or

    • Enter your credentials and complete a one-time password verification.

  4. Once authenticated, you'll land on the main dashboard.

Tip: Bookmark app.maple.inc in your browser for quick access. You can log in from any device with internet access.

Dashboard Layout

The Maple dashboard is organized into three main areas:

Left-Hand Sidebar Navigation

The sidebar is your primary navigation menu. It contains links to all major sections of the platform, organized in a hierarchical structure. Key sections include:

  • Orders — View and manage incoming orders, with subsections for order lists and phone calls.

  • Voice Agents — Access your AI voice agent configuration, including phone numbers, transfer settings, advanced options, and language preferences.

  • Knowledge Base — Enter general restaurant information and configure AI coaching specific to your business.

  • Menus — Access the Menu Builder to manage menu categories, items, pricing, hours, and pagination settings.

  • Locations — Manage your restaurant's name, address, phone number, website, and store hours.

  • Merchant Tools — Access additional configuration options for your account.

  • Phone Calls — Review call logs and monitor AI agent activity.

If you have multiple locations set up under the same email, you can view unified analytics across all locations and filter by individual location from a single dashboard view.

Top Navigation Bar

The top-right corner of the dashboard contains:

  • Bell Icon (Notifications) — Displays a badge with the number of pending notifications. Click the bell to view alerts, including onboarding tasks, setup reminders, and merchant onboarding steps. This is also a quick way to access POS connection setup and other pending configuration items.

Main Content Area

The center of the screen displays the content for whichever section you've selected in the sidebar. This is where you'll view settings, edit configurations, and manage your restaurant's details.

Key Dashboard Sections

Voice Agents

The Voice Agents section is where you manage your AI phone agent. Here you can:

  • View your assigned AI agent phone number

  • Configure Agent Actions, including call transfer options and handoff numbers

  • Adjust Advanced settings such as language preferences and after-hours behavior

  • Edit your AI agent's welcome message

  • Manage notification settings for calls and orders

You can return to this section at any time to review or modify your voice agent configuration — there's no need to keep manual notes from your initial setup.

Knowledge Base

Located in the left sidebar, the Knowledge Base is where you train your AI agent on your restaurant's specific information. This includes:

  • General restaurant details and FAQs

  • AI coaching entries tailored to your business

  • Template KB entries (look for the Add Template KB Entries button in the upper-right corner of this section)

The more complete your knowledge base, the better your AI agent will handle customer inquiries.

Menus

The Menus tab provides a full Menu Builder interface where you can:

  • Select which POS menus are exposed to the AI agent

  • Review and edit menu categories and individual items

  • Adjust menu hours and availability (e.g., happy hour vs. all-day menus)

  • Update pricing and modifiers

  • Configure pagination settings (items per page)

  • Make bulk updates to items and pricing

If your menu was imported from a POS integration, review all items, categories, and settings here to confirm accuracy.

Locations

Manage your restaurant's core business information:

  • Store name and address

  • Phone number and website

  • Store hours — displayed in the main content area when this section is selected

  • Other operational details

This information can be edited at any time after your initial onboarding.

Orders

View and manage orders coming through the Maple platform. This section includes subsections for browsing order history and reviewing phone call activity.

Onboarding from the Dashboard

If you're still completing your initial setup, the dashboard includes built-in onboarding tools:

  • Blue Rocket Icon — Look for the blue rocket icon on the left-hand side of the dashboard, labeled Finish Onboarding. Click it to launch the guided setup wizard, which walks you through location setup, POS integration, agent creation, and payment configuration.

  • Get Started Button — After clicking the rocket icon, select Get Started to begin the step-by-step onboarding workflow.

  • In Progress Tab — If you've partially completed setup, your progress is saved automatically. You can pause and resume onboarding at any time without losing your work.

  • Notification Bell — Click the bell icon and select Merchant Onboarding to quickly jump back into pending setup steps, including POS connections.

Once onboarding is complete, the rocket icon is replaced by your standard dashboard navigation.

Admin vs. Merchant Views

The dashboard displays different content depending on your account type:

  • Merchant accounts see merchant-specific tours, tabs, and configuration options on the left-hand sidebar.

  • Admin accounts may display additional tours, features, and organization-level tools that are not visible in the standard merchant view.

If you're a restaurant operator, you'll be working in the merchant view, which is tailored to day-to-day restaurant management tasks.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Dashboard

  • Bookmark the URL. Save app.maple.inc to your browser for fast access.

  • Check your notifications regularly. The bell icon alerts you to pending tasks, setup steps, and important updates.

  • Explore all sidebar tabs. The onboarding process covers the most important sections, but take time to explore every tab to discover all available features.

  • Make changes anytime. Nearly all settings — welcome messages, transfer numbers, store hours, menu items, and knowledge base entries — can be updated after initial setup without contacting support.

  • The portal is actively updated. Maple regularly adds new features and improvements. You may occasionally notice minor visual changes as the platform evolves.
