Maple Portal Login Troubleshooting
Last updated: March 23, 2026
Having trouble logging into the Maple portal? You're not alone — login issues are among the most common questions we receive. This guide covers the most frequent login problems, explains why they happen, and walks you through how to fix them.
The Maple portal is located at app.maple.inc. Depending on when your account was created, you may log in using a password or the newer passwordless login flow, which sends a one-time verification code to your email.
Verification Code or One-Time Password Not Arriving
Symptom
You enter your email on the login page, request a verification code (or one-time password), and the email doesn't appear in your inbox.
Cause
Verification code emails may experience slight delays due to normal system connection variations. In many cases, the email has arrived but was filtered into your spam, junk, or promotions folder by your email provider.
Fix
Wait 1–2 minutes. Verification codes don't always arrive instantly — give it a moment before taking further action.
Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders. This is the most common reason codes appear "missing."
Click the resend button on the login page to request a new code.
Try "Continue with Google" instead. On the Maple login page, click Continue with Google to bypass the email verification code entirely and authenticate with your Google account.
Contact support. If the code still doesn't arrive after multiple attempts, reach out to your Maple support contact. In some cases, a verification code can be provided verbally over the phone as a fallback.
Note: If you recently signed up and the system was just updated, there may be a temporary backend delay. Waiting a couple of minutes and using the resend button typically resolves this.
Don't Remember Which Email Is Linked to Your Account
Symptom
You're on the login page but aren't sure which email address was used to create your Maple account.
Cause
During onboarding, your account was set up with a specific email address — this could be a business email or a personal email, depending on what was provided at the time.
Fix
Check your inbox (both business and personal email accounts) for any previous emails from Maple containing login links or verification codes.
Contact Maple support and provide your business name or location name. The support team can look up the email address associated with your account and confirm it for you.
Forgot Your Password
Symptom
You attempt to log in with your email and password, but you can't remember the password. Browser autofill isn't prompting with saved credentials.
Fix
Use "Continue with Google." If your Maple account email is a Google/Gmail address, click Continue with Google on the login page to sign in without needing a password.
Use passwordless login. The Maple portal now supports passwordless login — simply enter your email address and use the one-time verification code sent to your inbox instead of a password.
Reset your password. Use the password reset option on the login page to receive a reset email. Check your spam/junk folder if the reset email doesn't appear right away.
Check Settings > Profile > Password if you're able to access the portal through another method (such as Google login) and want to view or update your password.
Tip: If you're using an incognito/private browser window, saved passwords and autofill will not be available. Switch to a regular browser window to use saved credentials.
"Something Went Wrong" Error After Setting a Password
Symptom
After creating a password during the sign-up flow, you see a message that says "Something went wrong. Close the page and try again." The error may recur even after following the instructions.
Cause
This can occur when there's a conflict in the authentication flow — for example, the system may indicate your email is already in use while simultaneously failing to log you in with the new credentials.
Fix
Close the browser tab completely (not just refresh).
Open a new browser tab and navigate to app.maple.inc.
Try logging in with "Continue with Google" or the passwordless verification code option instead of the password you just created.
Try an incognito/private browser window to rule out cached data causing the conflict.
If the error persists, contact Maple support. This type of issue may require investigation by the engineering team, and they can resolve it on the backend.
"Email Already in Use" Error During Sign-Up
Symptom
When going through the Get Started flow, you see a message that your email address is already in use.
Cause
An account has already been created with that email address — possibly during a previous onboarding session or by a team member.
Fix
Go to the login page instead of the sign-up flow and try signing in with that email.
Use "Continue with Google" or request a one-time verification code to access the existing account.
Contact support if you believe the account was created in error or you need it reset.
Login Page Looks Different Than Expected
Symptom
The login page interface has changed from what you previously used, and your usual login method no longer seems to work.
Cause
Maple has rolled out a passwordless login option, which changes the login page interface. Instead of entering a password, you now enter your email and receive a verification code.
Fix
Enter your email address on the updated login page.
Check your email for the one-time verification code.
Enter the code to access your account.
Alternatively, click Continue with Google if your account is linked to a Google email address.
Getting Logged Out Unexpectedly
Symptom
You're kicked out of the portal after saving profile information or navigating between pages.
Cause
Session interruptions can occur after saving profile updates or due to portal performance issues.
Fix
Log back in using your normal login method (verification code or Google).
Clear your browser cache or try an incognito/private window if the issue keeps happening.
Your saved data should still be intact — the logout is a session issue, not a data loss issue.
Portal Is Slow to Load or Doesn't Display Content After Login
Symptom
After logging in, the portal takes a long time to load, pages appear blank, or expected content (like merchant information) doesn't show up.
Cause
The portal can experience slow performance during login and page loads. This is a known issue that the team is actively working to improve.
Fix
Wait for the page to fully load — it may take longer than expected.
Refresh the page after waiting (you may need to refresh more than once).
Log out, then log back in using an incognito/private browser window.
If content still doesn't appear after these steps, contact Maple support so the issue can be escalated to the engineering team.
Can't Access the Portal Link
Symptom
You received a portal link on your phone but need it on your computer, or you can't find the original link that was sent to you.
Fix
Go directly to app.maple.inc in any browser — you don't need the original link to log in.
Request the link be resent by contacting your Maple support representative. They can send it via email or text, whichever works best for you.
If you're on a device where your business email isn't set up, ask support to send the link to an alternate email address you can access on that device.
Verification Code Required Every Time You Log In
Symptom
You're frustrated that the portal requires email verification each time you access it, rather than remembering your session.
Cause
The Maple portal currently uses email verification as its primary authentication method. This was chosen because it's more reliable than passwords, which are frequently forgotten.
What You Can Do
Use "Continue with Google" for a faster login experience if your account uses a Google email address.
Bookmark app.maple.inc for quick access to the login page.
Email verification is the current standard authentication method — there is no option to disable it at this time.
Quick Troubleshooting Checklist
If you're stuck, run through this checklist before contacting support:
Are you using the correct email address for your account?
Have you checked your spam, junk, and promotions folders?
Have you waited 1–2 minutes for the verification code?
Have you tried clicking the resend button?
Have you tried Continue with Google as an alternative?
Have you tried an incognito/private browser window?
Have you tried a different browser or device?
If none of these steps resolve your issue, contact Maple support with your business name and the email address you're using to log in, and the team will investigate further.
